What is Pipes?
Pipes are used for carrying gas, cold and hot water, and other liquids from one place to another safely. Different types of pipes are used in different circumstances. Pipes types are selected on the basis of work and suitability, and their prices are also taken into account. Steel pipes are long, hollow tubes that are used for a variety of purposes. They are produced by two distinct methods which result in either a welded or seamless pipe. In both methods, raw steel is first cast into a more workable starting form. It is then made into a pipe by stretching the steel out into a seamless tube or forcing the edges together and sealing them with a weld. The first methods for producing steel pipe were introduced in the early 1800s, and they have steadily evolved into the modern processes we use today. Each year, millions of tons of steel pipe are produced. Its versatility makes it the most often used product produced by the steel industry.
Types Of Pipes We Deal In
M.S. PIPE
Mild Steel (MS) pipes are manufactured using low carbon (less than 0.25%) steel. Due to low carbon content the pipes do not harden and are easy to use.
S.S. PIPE
Steel pipes are used to carry water, gas or certain other liquid from one place to the other under pressure. These pipes are made from steel sheets.
